Many people reject or are indifferent to the pro-life view simply because they’ve never heard it presented in a compelling manner. Project LifeVoice workshops are offered as 2 or 3-hour events designed to help pro-life ambassadors simplify the abortion debate and present the pro-life position confidently. By focusing on the questions, “What are the preborn?” & “What makes humans valuable?”, these user-friendly workshops equip attendees to persuade others by exposing the logical fallacies of abortion-choice rhetoric. PLV workshops are hosted by churches, pregnancy care centers, Right to Life affiliates, and homeschool associations. The practical and enjoyable nature of these workshops has made them very popular with audiences and has resulted in many groups hosting these on an annual basis. We provide you, the host, with marketing materials and workshop handouts.

Conversations about abortion and other moral issues can be intimidating conversations to start, and painful ones to navigate. This talk equips pro-life ambassadors to create meaningful and effective dialogue with abortion supporters in a winsome manner. Attendees learn simple, but valuable strategies on how to stay focused on the main thing, how to keep cool under fire, and how to handle difficult people.

Abortion is difficult subject for pastors to address. For many in our congregations, abortion is a deeply personal issue that invokes painful memories and feelings of guilt. Others view abortion as a political or a divisive issue and one the Church should avoid. It is the confusion surrounding this issue that raises a crucial question: Is it possible for the local church to be both a protective voice for the unborn and at the same time a redemptive community for those who have had abortions? Mike answers this question by bringing clarity to the role of the local church in an abortion culture and by addressing common objections such as, “Abortion is a political issue and off-limits for the pulpit,” and “Speaking out will only inflict more pain on those who’ve had abortions.” Mike’s pastoral background positions him uniquely to relate to pastors and to address this important topic pastor-to-pastor. When shepherds see the preborn and their parents as Christ does, defending them is no longer viewed as a burden but as the grand privilege of our pastoral ministry. This 1.5-hour presentation is offered at pastors’ luncheons and breakfasts and is typically hosted by pregnancy care centers and Right to Life affiliates.

Pulpit silence regarding abortion communicates one of two messages, both damaging: either abortion is not so bad, or the gospel is not so good. This silence communicates to parents considering abortion that it is not a sin, resulting in more abortions. Those who regret their abortion are left to conclude that their sin is so bad it cannot be mentioned from the pulpit, that they have committed the unpardonable sin, leaving them to suffer alone in guilt and shame. However, the gospel of Jesus Christ offers true forgiveness and real freedom from the sin of abortion. Without compromising on the sinful nature of abortion, this Sunday morning sermon speaks directly, but redemptively to this painful subject, offering real forgiveness and hope to the hurting.

One of the challenges pro-lifers face in the debate over abortion is the influence of moral relativism; the notion that morality is subjectively determined by society or by the individual. The language of moral relativism is the language of the pro-abortion movement as communicated in the popular slogan, “My Body, My Choice.” Abortion supporters say things like, “Who are you to judge?” and “Christians shouldn’t impose their morals on others!” This talk unmasks the confusion behind this language and helps pro-life ambassadors identify and expose the inconsistencies of moral relativism in dialogue over abortion.

Those determined to defend the indefensible are often driven to bizarre lengths to do so, and abortion supporters never show themselves more desperate than when they appeal to the Bible to try to justify abortion. Unfortunately, many professing Christians, are uninformed with respect to what the Bible teaches about prenatal human life. Pro-abortion opportunists have seized on this ignorance, making sitting ducks of the preborn and further eroding the Church’s influence in the battle for life. During this talk, Mike addresses common bad biblical arguments that have been weaponized against the preborn, such as, “The Bible is silent on abortion!” and “Exodus 21:22-25 proves the preborn aren’t fully human because the penalty for accidentally killing a fetus is only a fine, whereas killing the mother is punishable by death.” This talk equips audiences to respond to these misrepresentations confidently and to present an accurate biblical defense of the preborn.

Once universally condemned as a selfish and immoral act, euthanasia and assisted suicide are now slickly marketed as “death with dignity” and a “right to die.” The moral tides are shifting, and an alarming number of Americans now support legalized assisted suicide. This relevant subject touches people at their most desperate hour, often leaving families not knowing how to navigate difficult end-of-life choices regarding their dying loved ones. This 2-hour talk brings moral clarity to the issues by addressing the three primary positions on assisted suicide, confronting the misguided motivations behind this movement, and presenting a thoughtful and biblical response to the question, “When is it right to die?”

Since 2012, Mike has taken the pro-life message to thousands of high school students in classroom, auditorium, and youth group settings throughout the United States. His message is simple: “Abortion presents your generation with the greatest moral injustice the world has ever known, and you should do something about it.” When the light of truth exposes the evil injustice of abortion and students hear the pro-life position rationally and passionately defended the response is remarkable. Even in an auditorium of hundreds of students, the serious and relevant nature of abortion rivets their attention. By introducing students to satisfying answers to their opponents’ toughest challenges, Mike’s message helps strengthen their faith and galvanize their pro-life convictions. In many cases, Mike can provide this educational and inspiring talk at no cost to the school.

During this talk, designed primarily for high school and college-age audiences, Mike confronts the emptiness of shallow living and challenges students to determine to become God’s man or woman by committing to the following three things; (1) DEVELOP an insatiable appetite for God’s Word, (2) DEVOUR books about the people you want to emulate, & (3) DEVOTE yourself to a biblically healthy local church.

Abortion and sexual sin are two sides of the same coin. Our culture is obsessed with abortion because our culture is obsessed with sex. Sadly, few young people even within our churches are taught a biblical view of sex and sexuality. By pointing out the hypocrisy of confronting others about the evil of abortion while living sexually impure lives themselves, Mike calls high school and college-age audiences to flee from sexual temptation and to honor God with their bodies. His 4 main points are (1) God is not a prude or a killjoy when it comes to sex, (2) Sexual sin is rebellion against God, (3) You are more than your body; sex is more than a physical act, (4) Love does what is right even if doing what is wrong feels better.
